Wake

Take a picture frame and hold it up,
Put yourself inside it.
Take an envelope and open it up,
with a postage stamp beside it.
Make a note of "you" and send it to yourself.
Wake.
You will find you left yourself behind,
Just as I did find I left myself behind.
Formulated, time is needed, to pull it back, and square off.
Seperated, friends are faded, reflections are all that's left.
Complicated, lives are jaded, oh I need to take a breath.
Fortune faded, we almost made it. Now I'm scare of my own death.

Anew
03:34

At times it seems the simplest thing to find a simple joy.
While other times it's so easy to delicately destroy.
You lose yourself amongst the sounds of all the selling noise.
It is your life and your desires that time does employ.
So live a lifetime for yourself, don't ever disavow.
Savor your soul so sweetly, and swear to softly now,
That the blood of self should run freely through every single moment that you're breathing anew.

The Industry
06:56
|
|||
I have given myself purpose, stabalized by glowing eyes.
You all so terribly deserve this. You all deserve this.
But those eyes will never have to compromise.
Nobility and stability, and what is more noble.
A dream of a life I do not know, or simply letting this passion grow.
I dream that I will make changes, though I know this industry's dangers. I've heard the stories, the worries, and glories. The pain of sacrifice implores me, "this is not worth the effort, go on be rid of this headache, and just settle in."
But if I was in a position to take this composition and us it to make my vision of change in this world come true, what could I do? But let it come true.
I am an optomist, I cannot help this. I am a child of hope, I cannot help this. I see potential as something real, if it is something that I can feel. And I can't give up, just cause I'm tired, if I do you can call me liar, uninspired.
